Please note that there are more than 100 countries that are open to Brazilians, however, due to the pandemic that still exists, there are rules to be followed in the most important nations and most sought after by travelers from the country around the world.

According to the travel restrictions map, what guarantees light restrictions for Brazilians in 108 destinations around the world is full vaccination. And still according to the restrictions map the countries that are open to Brazilians are: United States, Uruguay, Argentina, United Kingdom, Spain, France, among others the countries that are open to Brazilians who are fully vaccinated. 

USA

In Argentina, for example, international travel is permitted for travelers who are vaccinated. A health form must be completed within 48 hours before entering the country and a copy of the vaccination certificate must be attached. Insurance that covers any expenses related to COVID-19 will also be required. 

In Colombia which is one of the countries that are open to Brazilians Travelers must also present a valid international certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19. Travelers who are not vaccinated or who have received the final dose of the vaccine 14 days before departure must present proof of a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before travel. A health form must also be completed.

In the United States, international travel to this country is permitted for vaccinated travelers, and proof of a negative PCR test, which was carried out one day before, must be provided upon departure. As in the other countries already mentioned, you will also have to fill out a form.

In Costa Rica, travelers who are not vaccinated must provide proof of specific travel insurance that includes full coverage of medical expenses and accommodation for COVID-19 in case quarantine is necessary. Travelers who prove they are fully vaccinated do not need to present proof of travel insurance. However, they must fill out an online form before departing for Costa Rica.

Costa Rica

Portugal which is one of the countries that are open to Brazilians, You will need to complete a health form and also present a negative result from a Covid-19 test carried out within the previous 72 hours upon departure. 

The Dominican Republic which is also one of the countries that are open to Brazilians, You will also have to fill out a health form, as travelers must present a negative PCR test that was performed within the previous 72 hours or a valid international certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19. The final dose must be administered at least 3 weeks before departure. However, in any case, proof of vaccination or 14-day quarantine will be required upon returning to Brazil.

In Mexico, travelers will also need to fill out a health form and submit it upon arrival in the country, and they will undergo health checks upon arrival, such as temperature checks and visual assessments. They will also need to undergo other health tests or quarantine may be required for those who have presented symptoms of COVID-19. Proof of vaccination or a 14-day quarantine will be required upon returning to their country of origin, in this case Brazil. 

Which countries are open to Brazilians?

Berlin – Germany

As you may already know, traveling to the United States is one of the countries that are open to Brazilians, The traveler must be vaccinated. Most European countries are already open to Brazilians who are vaccinated, such as: the United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, Spain and Germany.

Please note that Portugal is now open to Brazilians. However, there are some entry requirements for Portugal, but they are very simple. All you need to do is fill out a health form and present a negative COVID-19 test result that was taken within the previous 72 hours. 

And according to the restrictions map, you can alternatively present proof of a negative rapid antigen test, which was carried out within 48 hours prior to departure, or documentation of recovery from Covid-19.

Entry is also permitted if you are a European citizen and have the European Union's digital certificate for COVID-19. In any case, proof of vaccination or 14-day quarantine will also be required upon returning to Brazil. 

Travel to South America, where several neighboring countries have already reopened to Brazilian travelers, has some restrictions. However, it is worth remembering that in any case, proof of vaccination or quarantine will be required upon returning to Brazil. 

Cancun

In Chile, it is more restrictive, because, in addition to requesting proof of vaccination with specific rules such as approval of the proof through the request on the official website, it also requests the PCR test that has been carried out 72 hours before arrival, quarantine in the case that vaccination with the booster dose has not been proven, health insurance that covers possible expenses related to covid-19 and a health declaration.

Bolivia and Paraguay have similar requirements, such as filling out a form with a health declaration, as well as a negative PCR test for COVID-19 that has been carried out 72 hours before arrival. And if you do not have proof of vaccination, you must be quarantined upon arrival in the country.
