Marienplatz
The heart of the city and undoubtedly one of the most important places to see in Munich is Marienplatz. In fact, it is difficult to miss it Marienplatz is the city center.

New Town Hall in Munich
Under the name Neues Rathaus hides the New Town Hall of Munich, with a facade 100m long and a tower higher than 85m (the
(by the way, you can go up to the top in an internal elevator). The New Town Hall is located in the center of Marienplatz.
It was from the mid-19th century onwards, a time when the city of Munich continued to grow. Without a doubt, it is one of the most important tourist attractions in Munich.


Odeonsplatz

Viktualienmarkt
The most famous market you can visit in Munich is the
Viktualienmarkt, with more than 140 stalls selling food, cheese,
flowers, etc… within 22,000m2 hosts this special place, full of smells and colors.


Nymphenburg Palace
In most European cities, one of the most important tourist attractions to visit are the palaces. Munich is no exception, and here the most important attraction is the Nymphenburg Palace, in Baroque style, built in the mid-17th century as the summer residence of the Wittelsbach family.
You can still see the decoration inside the palace, with beautiful frescoes,
portraits and a rococo style ballroom. But if something stands out from the palace
are its beautiful gardens.


Karlsplatz
Karlsplatz square is right in the center of Munich and was built after the medieval wall was torn down in the 18th century.
In fact, people know it as Stachus, but if there is one thing that stands out, it is the city gate of Karlstor. You will find this area always full of
people, and you can get here by crossing Neuhauser Straße from Marienplatz.
