1-Praia do Forte:
This beach is located in the municipality of Mata de São
João, in the state of Bahia, and is 100 km from the capital Salvador, following
straight along Estrada do Coco straight.
There are bus options that leave from Lapa to Praia do Forte, lasting
an hour and a half journey. Tourists can admire the waters
crystal clear, the natural pools and the beautiful view that this beach
provides.
In Praia do Forte, one of the headquarters of the Tamar Project is located, which protects and guarantees the perpetuation of turtle species in the region. The entire area is preserved with natural vegetation.
2-Dry Mangrove:
Continuing further along Estrada do Coco, passing through Praia do Forte on the Linha Verde, you reach Mangue Seco beach. It is located in the city of Jandaíra, on the border of Bahia with Sergipe, having one of the largest ecosystems in the state. From Salvador to the location, it is 200 km and three hours of travel.
You have to pass through two villages, and then take a buggy to Coqueiro beach, to then reach Mangue Seco beach. To make things easier, you can hire specialized transfer agencies to the location. Mangue Seco has an incredible view, with mangroves, dunes, restingas and coconut trees, as well as crystal clear waters and white sands. The beach was the setting for the soap opera Tieta do Agreste in the 80s.
3-Itaparica Island:
located in front of Baía de Todos os Santos, access is via a ferry at the São Joaquim Waterway Terminal, in the Água de Meninos neighborhood, in the city center. The journey takes around an hour.
Arriving in Itaparica, tourists can drive or walk to the beach, where they can go diving, enjoy the natural beauty, and explore the entire coastline. The visitor or resident can discover and explore the beaches of: Barra Grande, Ponta de Areia, Cacha, Pregos, Penha, Aratuba, Praia do Forte and Mar Grande.
4-Morro de São Paulo:
Located on the island of Tinharé, in the municipality of Cairu, it is a place for all types of tourists: adventurers, athletes, partygoers, partygoers and couples with children, who just want peace and quiet to enjoy their holidays. To get to the place, it is 120 km and around a three-hour journey to Valença, taking a catamaran to its paradisiacal beaches, called the first, second, third and fourth.

If you want to do the walking tour, visitors can enjoy the rustic and preserved landscape of the place, not forgetting to check out the beaches of: Boca da Barra, Tassimirim, Cueira, Moreré, Bainema and Ponta dos Castelhanos.
6-Marau Peninsula:
Located south of Morro de São Paulo and Boipeba, the rustic beaches of natural beauty are 200 km away and approximately a four and a half hour journey, and then continue by boat to Barra Grande.
7-Itacaré:
Being part of the Cocoa Coast, it is 250 km and a five-hour journey, going down BA 001 and taking BA 654. The beach has strong waves, and has natural pools suitable for diving.
Other beaches close to Itacaré are: Jeribuaçu, Itacarezinho, Havaizinho, Concha, Resende, Engenhoca, Ribeira and Prainha.
