Bogotá

Throughout the country, you will find restaurants serving delicious traditional dishes. Try Ajiaco, a chicken soup made with different types of potatoes and vegetables. Don't forget to try Arroz con Coco, one of the most traditional dishes of the Caribbean region. The dish consists of fish, salad and patacones, which are fried green bananas.

Another important tip is to drink tap water instead of bottled water in some places, such as the Amazonas, Providencia and San Andrés regions.
