Mexico is considered a major metropolis in the world, which attracts visitors due to its diversity in tourism, pleasing both those looking for historical itineraries and those interested in art, entertainment, gastronomy and shopping. When we talk about this trip, prepare yourself to be faced with its colors and local flavors.

What you see in Mexico City is a mix of cultures and stories, many of which are still quite mysterious, within a rich universe, with good music and unmissable tours and restaurants with their delights. Travelers can also enjoy good accommodation and shopping options.

However, Mexico is one of the countries that has increasingly become a popular tourist destination for Brazilians. It is considered a cheap trip, as it is a destination with direct flights. On this trip, you will not need to obtain a visa in advance, but you will need a passport that is valid for at least 6 months.

The yellow fever vaccine is not mandatory, but if your flight has a stopover in Colombia or Panama, a vaccination certificate will be required. During the pandemic, Mexico has no restrictions for Brazilians, which makes it a very popular destination. Tourists must take the following precautions: wearing a mask, using alcohol gel, social distancing, and constantly sanitizing their hands.

The best currency to take on a trip to Mexico is the United States Dollar, even though this currency is very expensive, it is usually the best option in terms of cost-benefit. A good old credit card can save tourists in emergency situations, despite having fees or restrictions. The language of this country is Spanish.

Tourist attractions in Mexico

Tourism is considered to be well developed in Mexico, which is why it is an easy destination to visit. There is a great wealth of history and culture, with some tourist attractions that are unmissable and are even part of a basic package for visitors. However, defining priorities is not an easy task on this trip.

The Zócalo, the Historic Center and the Alameda Central are the starting points for exploring Mexico. The Zócalo is located in the Plaza de la Constitución and marks the most important point in Mexico City. The Historic Center is home to museums, buildings full of history and Aztec ruins, and is also a place where tourists can enjoy its craft markets.

The Pyramids of Teotihuacán are a very interesting region in Mexico, which exudes a lot of mystery and respect, from a civilization that lived there and where many archaeological relics are currently found, which are of inestimable value. The archaeological site of Teotihuacán is an incredible journey through the culture and history of that people.

Alameda Central is one of the oldest parks in Latin America. It is a pleasant stroll in Mexico, in a park that is located between its Historic Center, and is surrounded by many museums and tourist attractions, such as the Palacio de Bellas Artes, the Museo Memoria y Tolerancia, the Torre Latinoamericana, the Casa de Azulejos, the Palacio Postal and the Fraz Mayer Museum.

The National Palace is the seat of Mexico's executive branch and also marks the most important point in the region. It is a building that was built in the early 16th century and has been the scene of major events in Mexico's history, but it has many surprises in store for its visitors, as its interior is filled with works of art and museum items.

The regions most popular with tourists in Mexico

The most popular region in Mexico is Cancún, with its white sand beaches and turquoise sea, its archaeological sites, its variety of hotels, restaurants and boutiques, and its vibrant nightlife. Its climate is very good, with an average temperature of 27ºC.

The Riviera Maya covers more than 140 km of territory on the Caribbean coast, which is located at the eastern end of the Yucatan Peninsula, and has very picturesque beaches, such as Playa del Carmen and Puerto Morelos, as well as its extensive network of rivers and lakes and its mangroves and jungles, which make this place ideal for experiencing nature.

Riviera Maya – Mexico

The city of Chichén Itzá is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and is an impressive region, as it is an archaeological site, due to its large buildings that are in a good state of conservation. Some travelers take this tour with the sole intention of getting to know this place, since it is a region that is very close to another desired destination, the Riviera Maya.

Visit the ruins of Tulum, which are among the most beautiful historical monuments in Mexico, on an archaeological site and in an ancient city that was once a wall. The sun and heat are very strong there. It is an excellent place to take photos, as it is right in front of a beautiful beach with a turquoise blue sea, with a beautiful contrast between its ruins and the sea.

Finally, we chose Puebla for this trip to Mexico, which is just two hours away. It is a historic and emblematic destination, with its colonial buildings and is worth the trip to taste some of its best Mexican dishes, such as Mole Poblano. Come and take this trip to Mexico.
