The city of Tatuí is well recognized for its cultural vocation, as it houses the largest musical conservatory in Latin America. Known as the “City of Tenderness”, due to the great receptivity of its residents.

The origin of the word that gives the city its name “Tatuí” derives from Tupi-Guarani and means “river of armadillos”. Another very interesting thing about the city is that it is known as the Land of Homemade Sweets as it has a tradition of producing various sweets, with the main ones focused on pumpkin, sweet potatoes and cider. There is another frequently visited place in the Tatuí region, which is Sítio do Carroção, which is nothing more than a camp for children and teenagers, being one of the most important children's resorts in Latin America.

Dr. Carlos de Campos Dramatic and Musical Conservatory,

The Dr. Carlos de Campos Dramatic and Musical Conservatory is a mandatory stop for all those who visit Tatuí, as it is the largest free music teaching school in Latin America. Since the day it was founded, its importance has transformed the city, making it an obligatory point of passage for all music lovers in Brazil.

There are many students at the conservatory from different Brazilian states, including even musicians from other countries. Furthermore, the place is responsible for training the most diverse musical formations, with instrumentalists, luthiers and actors, many of whom already have international fame. The Conservatory definitely stands out for its high quality of teaching.

Paulo Setúbal Historical Museum

The Paulo Setúbal Historical Museum was built in the 1920s and is a place that formerly housed the city's Public Prison and Forum. The Museum has a very diverse collection and includes objects that were part of the city's patrons, as well as furniture and utensils from the city's most diverse residents, as well as pieces from the drovers' daily lives and also items of sacred art, photos of small squares and objects reminiscent of the Constitutionalist Revolution of 1932. The museum also has an indigenous collection and a large number of other curiosities.

Parish Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception

The Igreja Matriz Nossa Senhora da Imaculada Conceição refers to the history of the city, as its construction began in 1884, giving the Church an architectural style from the 19th century.

Its interior was created by Piracicaban painter Mário Tomazzi and anyone can be amazed by the beauty and conservation of the church. A very interesting detail of the place is that in December 1927, the tower's clock was inaugurated, which consumed a total of 550 thousand bricks, 355 carts of stones and 8 thousand bags of lime. It is important to highlight that the importance of the Church is so great that the building is listed by the municipality as a historical heritage site.

Maria Tuca Municipal Ecological Park

For fun and nature lovers and an excellent leisure spot for the whole family, you cannot miss the Ecological Park. This place offers a very green environment with outdoor walks, as well as a space designed for environmental education, bike rides, hiking and a variety of attractions.

Tatuí Aeroclub

The Tatuí flying club was founded in 1934 and is intended for teaching and practicing activities related to flying, especially glider flying. Thus, Tatuí contains one of the largest sailing flying clubs in the country, both in terms of the number of aircraft and the number of trained pilots.

Experimental Station

Tatuí is also known as a science hub, mainly in the form of the Tatuí Research and Development Unit, which is responsible for bringing scientific and technological knowledge to socioeconomic development and ensuring the promotion of environmental balance.
